We are a welcoming church community rooted in faith, fellowship, and service. Together, we support one another through life’s joys and challenges while growing in our Christian faith. Each Sunday, we gather for worship to sing, pray, reflect, and respond to the needs of our community. Through our time, talents, and service, we seek to share God’s love and extend hope both locally and around the world. We invite you to explore our website and learn more about our church. If you are new to the area or looking for a church home, we would be glad to welcome you.

About the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)

We are Disciples of Christ; a Christian movement committed to wholeness in a fragmented world.  As part of the one body of Christ, we welcome all to the Lord’s Table just as God welcomes us.

The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) was founded in the United States in the early 1800s.  Seeking to move beyond denominational divisionsits founders envisioned a united church modeled on  the New Testament.  Our faith community igrounded icovenant, emphasizing shared accountability rooted in our common belief in Jesus Christ.

We affirm that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God and that God’s saving grace is offered to all people, who are all God’s children.

 About Our Practices

Disciples of Christ value freedom of belief.  We are united by our confession of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, while honoring individual conscience guided by Scripture, the Holy Spirit, study and prayer With this freedom comes the responsibility to study God’s Word within the life of the church and to extend the same freedom to others.

We celebrate the Lord’s Supper weekly, affirming that the Table is open to all who believe in Jesus Christ. We practice baptism by immersion, understanding it as the beginning of a new life of trust in God.  Although Disciples practice baptism by immersion, other baptismal traditions are recognized and respected.

The chalice represents the central role of Communion in our worship.  The X-shaped cross of St. Andrew symbolizes the ministry of every believer and our call to evangelism.
